In news that should have fans of encased primates doing the monkey for the remainder of the day, SEGA has confirmed that a demo for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz will release on the Japanese PlayStation Store tomorrow.
The full game will be a mixture of the familiar and the new, allowing players to roll their way through a fresh batch of hap-hazard stages. This time you’ll be able to create your own levels too, using the Vita’s front and rear cameras. Oh, and yes, AiAi will be back. D'awww.

This is great news. I was afraid this game might be a casualty of Sega cutting back on some projects. I'll be importing this game day one. Love me some Monkey Balls.
Has any release date been announced for North America? I heard it was Summer but I am not sure. Have not played any Monkey Ball games except for the first two on Gamecube.
@Firejonie I don't think they've said anything yet. Late summer still seems like a safe bet though.
