City Interactive’s attached a 21st August release date to its scoped first-person shooter Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2.

The original title proved a massive success on PS3 due to its low price-point and decent gunplay. Ghost Warrior 2 hopes to better its predecessor by implementing CryEngine 3 support, enhanced AI and “unprecedented” bullet ballistics.

It's not the only sniper specific shooter due out on PS3 this year, with Rebellion's Sniper Elite V2 scheduled for release next month.
