Greg Johnson, the creator of classic Mega Drive title ToeJam & Earl, is hiring for a new Sony-exclusive title. The legendary developer, now in charge of HumaNature Studios, announced the partnership in a listing on Gamasutra’s job board and the Tech-Artists forum.
The game is described as "cute and filled with quirky personality”.
Johnson continued:
It's also super innovative in the area of emotional AI and personality simulation. It's designed for both male and female players, and will be marketed in the US and in Japan.
Apparently the game is inspired by PlayStation classics such as ICO and LittleBigPlanet.
While the developer doesn’t mention a platform specifically, we’d be surprised if this didn’t end up being for Vita. Of course, we’d trade in all the innovation for a new ToeJam & Earl game.

"A new Toejam and Earl game"? WHY? The first one was pretty good, 2 was just...weird, and I didn't care much for 3. Somehow, I find it difficult to believe that making another new game in a series that just REEKS of its original time period of release would be a good idea.
@stuffgamer1: have you ever heard of Sonic Generations? Have you ever heard of Bionic Commando Rearmed? Have you ever heard of Mega Man 9?
I havent played part 3. HD remake please!!
