And to be honest, we can’t blame you — this looks absolutely extraordinary.
Assassin's Creed III is set to infiltrate PS3 on 31st October.

Ok, I'm impressed. After a day watching Diablo 3 CGI and cartoons it was really nice to see some in-game footage of something.
Question is, can I play this without any of the others? Nothing against the renaissance or stealth games but all the previous games just look so ... brown.
I have followed the story line, which all seems very MGS to me from the outside looking in w/ some time travel thrown in for good measure. Can anybody tell if the guy in this game is a time traveler? From what I've read he's a half-breed native American so I was kind of hoping this was AC in name only. Not that I mind sci-fi time travel world dominating behind the scenes forces intruding in over-arching world conquest, I just don't want to be TOO lost and confused.
Anybody else watch this and think of The Outlaw Josie Wales? Endeavor to persevere.
