EA's Dead Space 3 is in the works, and this teaser trailer wants to set the scene.
While there's no gameplay footage, the video fills you in on events from the end of Dead Space 2. If you haven't followed the series so far, all you need to know is it's about aliens and lots and lots of gore.
Check it out below and expect to see much more during EA's E3 presentation on Monday, 4th June.

I love, love Dead Space, but this trailer did nothing for me. I really don't like the art-style they adopted, and I'm worried they're moving too far away from the claustrophobic survival horror of the original game.
Yeah the 2D/3D art style they have adopted is a bit weird.
I have heard lots of great things about the series, but I don't like on-rails shooters, so have not taken the plunge. If they take it off rails I will definitely take a look.
@Ginkgo Only Dead Space: Extraction is on-rails. The two mainline titles are proper third-person shooters.
Is that for sure Dead Space 3, not another Dead Space Ignition? If it is the game there will be no horror at all this time. If the main character doesn't know what's going on but the player does, there's going to be a disconnect for the game.
I think this is just a story line tease using concept art. I love the series, and I'd really like to see a completely new place explored this go around.
@get2sammyb : Ahh then I have been mislead (or misunderstood). Does Dead Space 2 also have move support, or was that just Extraction?
