Look, Square Enix knows you’ve waited over 5 years to get your hands on Final Fantasy Versus XIII – but the publisher wants you to hold out a little longer. The Japanese company has unveiled its E3 2012 line-up and, unless there’s a last minute miracle, it does not include the oft-delayed RPG.
In fact, much of Square Enix’s line-up is dominated by upcoming Western projects. Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider reboot headlines the publisher’s offering, and is joined by Hitman: Absolution, Sleeping Dogs and Quantum Conundrum.
Isn’t it strange how things change?

Hopes. Crushed...
@Mickeymac BELIEVE.
I just hope it wont be a big disappointment like final fantasy 13 was.
I just hope it comes out before ps5...
I Am so Sick of square Enix. I hope for their sakes its does make a surprise appearance. its been so long People have died waiting for Versus to come out. Instead of finishing projects that they announced in 2006 they give us 13-2.
Personally, I don't think this game is ever going to come out.
could someone explain to me what the versus spin off even means and why people want it.
^It means nothing, and people want it because they promised it would be a better game than 13.
It is probably just me, but why would you release 3 games in a series called:
Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIII-2
Final Fantasy Vs XIII
I mean are they just trying to confuse everyone.
Hitman Absolution will be at E3? Hopefully they will finally announce a release date, but then again, it is Square Enix
Is this list of games posted somewhere?
Yeah, after all this I'd say it's a relatively safe bet to think this game will never actually release.
