A marketing executive at SCEA is apparently working on the latest entry in the Gran Turismo franchise. The Linked In profile of Brian Dunn listed the racing sequel as a current project, but the information has since been removed.
Dunn previously worked on Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Gran Turismo PSP, making his involvement in Polyphony Digital’s next project seem likely.
The big question is: will the next Gran Turismo be on PlayStation 3? A Vita version is certainly possible, but Gran Turismo 6 would make a very compelling argument for purchasing a PS4 at launch.
