Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios is taking a break from Scorpion and Sub-Zero in order to build a brand new superhero fighting game for PS3. The mouthy Injustice: Gods Among Us is set to lock DC Comics' greatest heroes and deadliest villains in battle next year.
Confirmed fighters include Batman, Superman, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, and Solomon Grundy. Details are scarce right now, but expect to see more during E3.

i want this!
@JavierYHL Yeah, me too! Eager to see more.
Like some of the design work, The Flash especially. Hopefully this won't suck!
Wow loks great! Im wondering what will be left to Annouce at E3, alot of news is coming out now.
@KALofKRYPTON I'm sure it won't. NetherRealm knocked it out of the park with the recent Mortal Kombat reboot, and I actually really liked Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe too.

True, true. I'm (obviously) quite a DC fan(boy)- so I'll give it a shot anyway!
With the media focus soon to be all consumed by The Dark Knight Rises, hopefully more will be made of DC licensing opportunites. And with (the possibly quite good) Man of Steel on the horizon- here's to a good Superman game!
