The 15 people that actually played Techland’s off-road racer Nail’d will tell you that, terrible name aside, it was pretty good fun. We were one of those 15 people, and we agree.
The big problem with Nail’d was its delivery method and price. For a few pennies on the PlayStation Store it would have been a roaring success, but as a retail product with a high price point it understandably bombed.
Thankfully Ubisoft saw the potential in Nail’d, and felt it appropriate to give developer Techland the budget to make a spiritual successor. Sure the game might have an equally awfully name in Mad Riders, but at least it’s a PSN title this time around. It's set to release on Sony's digital storefront on the 30th May.
Mad Riders promises 45 tracks, leaderboards, online gameplay and more. It’s offering all that for “the price of a pizza”. Exactly how much that pizza costs, is still up in the air. We’re hoping it’s more Pizza Hut buffet and less Pizza Express, to be honest.
Either way, we’re actually excited for this. Check out the new trailer embedded in the space below.

"Price of a Pizza"
So $20? Pizza's expensive in some places.
I'm sold! Nail'd was a great game, that so many passed over. But then again, so was Disney Interactive's PURE!
