The original Castlevania: Lords of Shadow gave Sony’s monstrous God of War franchise a run for its money at times, so a sequel always seemed like a no-brainer. And that’s exactly what the Paul Gale Network is reporting this morning.
The source – who correctly outed PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale last year – claims that the sequel is in development for PS3 and Vita at Spanish studio MercurySteam. Very few other details are shared about the PlayStation release, other than that it will supposedly be revealed at next month's E3.
Are you excited about the prospect of a Lords of Shadow sequel?

i enjoyed the demo of the first but never got round to buying it maybe i should now?
@TOMBOY25 It's really good, yeah. You can probably get it for cheap now too.
more and more ports for vita
I hope they tighten it up. While overall it was a good game (ok I hated that fire ring timing at the end) the middle was way too drawn out. I know everybody hates a 6 hour game experience (GOW3) but I think this took me 20 hours, I would have been much happier w/ 12. Oh, and the chapter w/in a chapter breakpoints made no sense. And Patrick Stewart would have been better utilzed with 12 speaking parts for the main chapter divisions rather than with 30 for each break. Enough is enough already.
So, will the sequel take place after the regular game ending or the way cool after the credits ending? Which reminds me I still need to play all the DLC to figure out what the heck happened.
Still good news though.
This will be an outstanding addition for the Vita, and if the game lasts 40 hours, much better than 20 for me.
