The bigwigs at Sony have clearly being paying close attention to the comments section here at Push Square. We’ve noticed you lot getting fidgety over every new PS3 announcement, and it looks like the platform holder’s starting to respond.
It announced Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time for Vita this morning and it looks like LittleBigPlanet Karting could be next. Possibly.
An advertising hoarding spotted in an Australian branch of EB Games appears to hint at the impending release of the cutesy racer on Vita. But there’s one catch – the boxart on display doesn’t add up.
While the hoarding itself is clearly legitimate, the image of LittleBigPlanet Karting is questionable. Not only is the logo different to the PS3 game, but the image of Sackboy and his kart is actually pulled from a promotional piece designed to pimp ModNation Racers back in 2010. Whatever your opinion of Sony, it’s unlikely the company would recycle artwork in this way.
What is more likely is that EB Games got word from Sony that LittleBigPlanet Karting is coming to Vita, and the retailer decided to mock up its own boxart for the display. That’s plausible, right?
Recently United Front says it was not working on LittleBigPlanet Karting for Vita, but that's not to say someone else isn't.
Guess we’ll find out the truth at E3.

please do it will sure move a whole lot more vitas with it
Hopefully if this is real, the game will be cross platform compatible with the PS3 version and uses the same DLC, online courses and save files. Along with a bundle like what they did with MLB 12 whre you get the PS3 and Vita versions at a lower price.
We have started a revolution
A WiFi Vita for only $3? SOLD! I'll take 40!
Sackboy looks so sad
Sounds awesome. Looks like the new Sonic and Sega Racing game will have some portable competition!
