Games with “souls” in the title are hot property right now. Not content with the announcement of Soul Sacrifice in Japan, SCEA has registered the domain for ForsakenSoulsTheGame.com. While this could simply be a localised name for the Keiji Inafune developed Vita exclusive, there’s also some speculation that Sony might be readying a Demon’s Souls sequel.
For those that aren’t aware of the situation, Sony actually owns the Demon’s Souls intellectual property. The platform holder worked with From Software to release the title in Japan, before wrongly assuming that the game wouldn’t appeal to the Western market. The title went on to become a phenomenon when Atlus brought it overseas, prompting Namco Bandai to fund the spiritual successor Dark Souls.
Given the worldwide success of both titles, it's entirely possible that Sony could be readying a sequel of its own. Could Forsaken Souls be that game? We'll probably find out at E3.

Here's hoping it's far more "Demon's" than "Dark"... There is a difference between cheap/frustrating and difficult. Namco didn't quite get that.
@nathanuc1988 Haha — I thought they were both cheap and frustrating!?
its sequel to demon souls...
Demon Souls is amazing, the more the better for me!
@nathanuc1988 You thought Dark Souls was harder? Most people I've talked to say Demon's Souls was a lot harder than Dark Souls. And after watching my friend play it, I would have to agree.
@DraculaX I definitely wouldn't call it harder, but it was much more frustrating. So much to the point that I never bothered to finish it. Everything just felt long and strung out which took all the fun from it. Demon's Souls to this day is one of my favorite games of all time but I just COULDN'T enjoy Dark Souls at all for some reason.
