Famed director Guillermo Del Toro's first foray into video games, inSANE, has not been cancelled, troubled publisher THQ has confirmed. While it has dropped Tomonobu Itagaki's Devil’s Third, it has confirmed continued development on the mysterious PS3 survival horror title.
Very little is known about inSANE other than its existence. The game was officially announced two years ago at the Spike VGAs with a tentative release date of 2013. We’ve heard very little about the title since.
THQ added that former Assassin’s Creed man Patrice Desilets’ project is also still in development. The game’s thought to be named 1666, but, again, details are scarce.

I'm glad this game is still happening. I really like the movies he is attached to. The Orphanage is really creepy.
Likes like they ripped off the InFAMOUS logo. Hope this game sees the light of day though. We dont need an repeats of The Last Guardian
