If you don’t already own a platform that can play Angry Birds, then you might be excited to learn that the ridiculously popular title is flying onto consoles.
According to IGN, a teaser reel running at Activision’s E3 booth shows one of Rovio’s famous characters smashing into the company’s logo. When quizzed about it, a company spokesperson teased, “Wait until you see it on consoles in HD.”
A version of Angry Birds launched on the PlayStation Minis platform a couple of years ago. We’re guessing Activision’s teasing an updated edition here, presumably with PlayStation Move support and enhanced visuals.

B/c Angry Birds in Hd will look so much better to justify a $60 price
I only remembered we had Angry Birds on the PS3 when I was looking around yesterday to delete stuff (I upgraded my HDD, what a pain). I recall it was so bad I wondered how anyone could possibly screw up a console port. Maybe they'll get in right this time. I've read the new space version is much better.
i hate to complain about this game because its so well loved so i wont, but im not the least bit excited.
@rjejr I presume it will be a PSN release, so there's no way it'll be $60.
