Battlefield 3 Cranks Up the XP This Weekend

Fans of guns, tanks and explosions are in for a treat, as DICE has announced a double XP weekend for Battlefield 3. Those of you engaging in digital warfare anytime between now and 23:59PM PDT on Sunday will net additional points for your efforts. If you've got social plans, you can always tell your friends that you’re washing your hair.

You won’t need to be a premium member to participate in the promotion – but if you are, you’ll be able to earn bonus points from the recently released Close Quarters expansion pack. Otherwise, you’ll score double XP for competing on any map or game mode, as long as you’re playing on a ranked server.
