Those of you in possession of a PlayStation Vita have probably been counting down the days until the release of Gravity Rush. As such, you probably won’t need reminding that the game is set to drift onto North American store shelves today.
In order to celebrate that fact, Sony has released a launch trailer for the ambitious Japan Studio developed action title. We challenge you to watch the video and not get excited.
Writing on the PlayStation Blog, game director Keiichiro Toyama also took a moment to outline the title’s North American DLC plans. If you purchase the game digitally between 12th June and 19th June you’ll unlock the Military Pack for free. That will be followed by the Spy Pack on 26th June and Maid Pack on 10th July. Both bundles – which include new costumes and missions – will cost $3.99.
For a little more background on the development of Gravity Rush, point your browser towards the PlayStation Blog. Are you planning on picking up the Vita exclusive this week?

finally!
About to sit down and fire it up!
UPS cant get here fast enough!
Just got back from the store with my copy, been looking forward to this game since it was announced.
I think I need to revisit the demo, it didn't really wow me as I expected it to. May need to have more of a play.
I wasn't to hyped for this but i need games for my vita, and i have to say Im really liking this game glad i picked it up. Can someone tell me why can't i find metal gear hd vita anywhere I've been to best buy walmart and gamestop only got one copy shipped to them only because one person pre ordered it. And also i got the last copy of this game why are they making it so difficult to find games i don't want to order online and i don't want digital at all kinda sucks
I would also like to purchase this game too at some point in the future. What hurts most though, is that at one point this was going to be a PS3 game...
looks at copy of Valkyria Chronicles for PS3, and then looks accusingly at SEGA.
@Malic Yeah, there's limited Vita presence in retail stores here in the UK too. Can't you ask your local store to order it in if you don't want to shop online?
@get2sammyb I wouldn't say that. All of the game stores stock well and even Asda has a full retail selection.
@get2sammyb looks like that's what Im gonna have to do its just strange to me that every other gaming system out now has full stock of games but vita doesn't seems like the same 4 games everywhere I go.
@KALofKRYPTON Im in the US around the Neworleans area games are pretty hard to find. Hopefully this changes soon
