PS2 classic Okami is set to get a visit from the god of 1080p, as Capcom's announced Okami HD for PSN.
The HD remaster will come with Trophies, 1080p support and PlayStation Move controls, which we expect will work rather like the controls in Okami on Wii. In Japan it's a retail release, but players in the West will be able to download it from PSN this Autumn for $19.99/£15.99.
Excellent news all round.

Great news. Haven't played the original, but always wanted to. Between this and Sorcery, I think it's time to invest on a PlayStation Move.
Can't wait, loved the Wii game but never got around to finishing it, with this I'll be starting a fresh in lovely HD. WIN!
I wish they'd fix the non-voices. Repeating the same one second sound over and over does not clever voice work make. They need to look at Banjo-Kazooie and the 3D Zelda's. Those have clever non-voices.
Speaking of Zelda, it would be cool to have a cel-shaded Zelda done in this style, kinda like a darker version of Wind Waker, with Link just a little bit older/taller then the Link in Wind Waker. Dark Celda!
This is fantastic news. Can't wait to play this again.
Question is, do I play this version, or wait for the Kinect, Vita, 3DS or Wii U versions?
Never did finish it either, got past what seemed like the end - big bad boss fight - but I read somewhere that was only first half I think. Then I remember a big closed bridge I couldn't get across and then maybe I did but got tiny and got lost, and then had had enough.
A worthy addition to the Move catalogue.
I hope it doesn't require Move. I'll totally be getting it either way, of course.
@Mickeymac: PS Blog confirms Move is optional.
Nice to see Capcom making something GOOD for a change. Looks like they're putting a lot of effort into this to make it better than your average "HD" PS2 game...good thing too, since the price point is higher than comparable PSN games. Definitely looking forward to it, at any rate.
Nice! I've always wanted to give this one a go.
Cool! I got this on Wii, didn't end up finishing it and sold it, but I think an HD coat of paint on an already beautiful game might suck me back in again...
