Those of you dreaming of cross-game chat and tighter Vita integration will do well to temper your expectations for the latest mandatory PS3 firmware update. Indeed, the impending software revision instead features better power saving support and the ability to copy multiple saves to external devices or the cloud. Not especially groundbreaking, but certainly useful.
Other tweaks include functionality improvements to the official wireless headset. Now you’ll be able to adjust the volume of feedback when chatting in multiplayer games, and enjoy movies with virtual surround sound.

This is great news for folks with that headset. There's nothing I really want from the PS3 updates rather than better Vita integration though. Seeing trophies on the PS3 would be a nice start. Of course remote-play would be the ultimate icing on the cake. But I guess that may be a PS4 thing.
I'm not one to complain about free FW updates (like many do) but surely copying multiple saves should have been in at launch...
Sounds like a awesome update for me... I hated hearing myself through the headset and never understood the purpose of that 'feature'.
Mutli-copy/delete is nice too!
I'm definitely happy about the multiple saves!
The update is live in america.
@ShogunRok Yeah, it should. But oh well — it's there now.
