Crystal Dynamics has clearly been playing close attention to Naughty Dog’s Uncharted franchise over the past couple of years. Swap out Lara Croft for Nathan Drake and this brand new Tomb Raider demo would look right at home on Sony’s stage.
In the demo, a fragile Lara is shown picking off foes with a bow-and-arrow, before falling down a waterfall, navigating its rapids, and – eventually – parachuting to safety. It’s breathtaking stuff, if a touch predictable.
Tomb Raider’s set to release on PlayStation 3 in March 2013. Check out the gameplay demo below – and, er, try to ignore all the Xbox branding.

I thought you got accidentally lucky w/ this headline
Tomb Raider Ventures into Uncharted Territory
but the "Lady Drake" follow-up said otherwise
I've never liked a Tomb Raider game. It had those evil controls on the PS1. But even before she parachuted out of that train - oh wait I mean airplane - I thought the game was running on the UC2 engine (Whatever engine that is). And I thought - finally a game worth playing.
So I'll go you 1 better and say - UC4: Chloe's Coronation.
Why is Lara killing everyone? She's not Rambo. Toby Gard! Crystal Dynamics needs a good talking too again.
