The PlayStation Vita version of Dungeon Defenders has been cancelled, developer Trendy Entertainment has revealed. The studio stated on its website that it was switching the resources reserved for the handheld port to a new unannounced project.
Dungeon Defenders was first demonstrated on Vita back when the device was known as NGP (or Next Generation Portable). At the time, the studio teased the possibility of cross-platform gameplay between the PS3 and handheld release.

This is a shame, for vita players. Not a smooth move on trendy's part. It would have been nice to play with my vita bretheren on my ps3.
