Ubisoft Explains Rainbow 6: Patriots' Absence from E3

Remember Rainbow 6: Patriots? The game got a very impressive concept trailer late last year, but has been hiding in the shadows ever since. Chatting with IGN, Ubisoft’s Tony Key explained that, while the game is still in development, skipping E3 was the “best thing for the brand”.

Key continued that there simply wasn’t room in Ubisoft’s press conference to show off the game anyway. Alongside the likes of Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed III, he may have a point.

The game’s definitely still in development for current generation consoles, though. When asked if Rainbow 6: Patriots had switched to PS4, Key joked: "This is the only generation that I know about, so I would assume yes."
