Developer Ronimo is “almost ready” to release the first update for its excellent PlayStation Network multiplayer title, Awesomenauts. In addition to making some changes to the game’s overall balance, the patch will add two new playable characters to the title’s roster: Coco Nebulon and Derpl Zork.

The former is a “space-surfing chick” who uses electricity to deal with her foes, while the latter takes advantage of a combat walker which is able to transform into a turret. Sounds pretty, er, awesome.
