In perhaps the most bizarre announcement of the week, Focus Home Interactive has announced that Farming Simulator 2013 is set to plough its way onto PS3 next year. The strangely popular PC series has already proved a massive hit in Europe, where it has sold a total of 2 million copies since its inception in 2009. Keep in mind that this is a franchise about farming.
The PlayStation 3 version promises new machines, crops, and animals to, er, interact with. It will also include a farm-fresh online component allowing you to create and share modifications, vehicles and equipment with other enthusiasts. A-maize-ing, huh? Sorry.

In the US version they should include the ability to perform rain dances or the entire game will consist of just watching your crops wither and die.
GOTY 2013 is here. We no longer need next gen.
Nice to see a PC indie title make the leap over to PS3. Here's hoping for PS Move support!
