The beta trial of LittleBigPlanet Karting on PS3 opened a little over a week ago, but as this is a highly anticipated title the demand has meant that many have, so far, missed out. It seems that Sony can't get enough of your feedback as registration and, most importantly, access is now available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in the EU.
Kicking off at 3pm UK time today, and closing after 24 hours, it should be as simple as finding the beta client app, downloading it and then hitting the tracks. With the ModNation Racers team behind it, Sony is no doubt hoping that this kart racer will threaten the sales supremacy of a certain moustachioed rival.
If you get access we'd love to hear your thoughts on it in the comments below.

I was luckily enough to get in on the beta in the US and really enjoyed it.
I'm not sure I would drop $60 on it, but it's definitely going on my price drop watch list. I have been looking for something to have on hand when my casual gamer friends/family come over and this should fit nicely.
My Dad who is in no way a gamer but plays Mario Kart picked it up right away.
With people being able to make and share tracks online, the possibilities are endless.
I too got into the US beta (along with many others I know, they must have increased the beta invites by a ton) and I looove it so far. The track-maker takes some getting used to though.
Just started the us beta last night! Seems fun so far =)
I got in the beta. I'm loving it so far, especially the mini games. Can't wait for the game to come out. Anyone know the release date?
I never get into betas
@turtlelink Did you apply for it? You've gotta keep up with the PlayStation Blog and get your application is a soon as possible. Once you get into one and put some time into it, it seems like they get easier to get into.
I had no idea you had to apply! I thought it was just random. Thanks for the info.
