It turns out that people are still rather fond of card games. Sony has announced that the wordy Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 was summoned to the top of the PlayStation Network sales charts in June.
The enchanted title beat out continued competition from Telltale’s massively popular The Walking Dead series and Sony’s exceptional Journey. Elsewhere, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown fought its way into 13th, while Pure Chess moved into 11th.
On PlayStation Vita, the Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection sneaked into the top spot, narrowly overcoming Japan Studio’s topsy-turvy open-world adventure Gravity Rush.
