It turns out that the hackers who extracted hidden information about a character called Leviathan from the Extended Cut of Mass Effect 3 were right on the money. Chatting with Eurogamer.net, voice actor Anthony Skordi has confirmed that the Reaper is set to be introduced in an upcoming DLC pack.
According to Skordi, Leviathan is a traitor who killed one of his own kind and was exiled for 10 years. He controls an indoctrinated Batarian colony, where Shepard meets him and attempts to recruit him in the fight against the Reapers.
It’s believed that BioWare will officially announce the content during its Comic-Con panel this weekend. Keep your eyes, ears and Omni-tools to the ground.

Excited! Currently playing insanity and will crave moar ME3 once I'm done (platinum'd!!!). Just hope ME3 DLC is at the same standard as shadow broker, arrival and overlord.
I'm currently playing through ME3 for the second time, in order to see the Extended Cut in action and also to get a feel for the game again. My reaction has been really positive, the second run through has been far more enjoyable than the first for me. I would encourage anyone who was disappointed with ME3 (even I was at first) to play through again, there's plenty to love.
@ShogunRok - Ya, I agree. I enjoyed my second play through more than my first as well. I stopped comparing it to the greatness that is ME2 and just took if for what it is.
