If, like us, you totally forgot Silent Hill: Downpour was even coming out (it’s available now apparently), then you’re probably partially to blame for the unclear future of Czech developer Vatra Games.
The studio’s future has been plunged into doubt following a management reshuffle at parent company Kuju Entertainment.
The group said in a statement:
The new management team at Kuju have been conducting a strategic review of all aspects of the business. As part of this process, the on-going business activities of the Vatra studio are currently under review. However, at this stage, no decisions have yet been made.
Earlier reports suggested that the developer had already been shuttered, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Still, with just two poorly received titles to its name – the aforementioned Silent Hill: Downpour and PSN remake Rush‘n Attack: Ex-Patriot – the future doesn’t look especially bright, does it?

Silent Hill is also dead for me, and Silent Hill: Book of Memories...No comment. I'll try to play it before I pass judgement, it has several songs sung by Mary Mcglynn so thats a start.
