Brazil gets all the luck. Not content with having the most successful football team in international history, Sony has also announced that it will be bringing a bunch of its biggest blockbusters to the Brazil Game Show in October. Playable titles will include God of War: Ascension, LittleBigPlanet Karting, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Sports Champions 2.
The show is the largest of its kind in Latin America, and will also host content from Activision, Codemasters, Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. It's set to take place between the 11th and 14th October in São Paulo.

It's about friggin' time Sony starts looking at Brazil as a serious market for gaming! Even though I live in Portugal, I'm Brazilian and I can tell you it is much harder to be a gamer and support original products there. In the PS1/PS2 days, everyone had chipped consoles and bought pirated games because the games used to cost a fortune and were downright hard to find. The situation is changing and more and more people are preferring to buy original games instead of pirating them, which is very good for the industry AND for the Brazilian market. It is very clear that the mind frame is changing for both consumers and the gaming industry, There are still some problems, though, namely the heavy taxes that the Brazilian government imposes on games and consoles. But the future is sure looking bright for us Brazilian gamers.
@Savino You'd probably know better than me, but... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN8rHdIAQIc
