Hours ahead of its annual Summer Showcase, EA has officially announced Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel for PlayStation 3. The Visceral Games Montreal developed sequel aims to re-imagine the occasionally juvenile franchise with a "more intense, mature, and grittier tone”.
Powered by DICE’s stunning Frostbite 2 engine, the game will depict the endeavours of operatives “Alpha” and “Bravo”, who are sent to Mexico with the objective of shutting down an illegal drug cartel.
Game Informer has the first information on the title, including the teaser trailer embedded below. No doubt more information will be revealed during EA’s Summer Showcase later this evening.
The shooter's set to release next March on PS3.
