Video game powerhouse Epic Games has completed its purchase of Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly. The announcement follows the departure of three key staff at the Polish studio, including creative director and founder Adrian Chmielarz.
"They left, they're going to do their own thing,” Epic Games’ Mark Rein told Joystiq. “They have something cool they're going to do, and we'll be very supportive of it.”
People Can Fly is currently working on Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War: Judgment. It's unclear how much Epic Games paid to complete its takeover of the European outfit.

Gears of War is a fantastic series, but Bulletstorm is a huge steamin' pile of poo! Just my opinion.
I don't care for either series, but the lead character design for bulletstorm was good.
Guess we know why those guys left in such a hurry. Probably didn't want to be "fully owned". People can't fly no more...
I wish EPIC would produce something I'd enjoy, besides Shadow Complex,...I think I might enjoy Infinity Blade too, but once again that's ChAIR isn`t it.
@ThreadShadow Shadow Complex is absolutely amazing!
@Slapshot Yes, and I really need to finally finish it.
