Hideo Kojima has marked Metal Gear’s 25th anniversary with a customary bang, announcing a brand new entry in the series named Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Attendees at an overnight birthday bash were wowed by a real-time gameplay demo which showed protagonist Big Boss infiltrating a rain-drenched compound, before offing a guard, driving a jeep and summoning a helicopter in a seamless sandbox environment.
The demo was supposedly running on Kojima Production’s new Fox Engine, and is targeting current hardware specifications. However, Hideo Kojima did tease that the studio was also working on next-generation titles.
Konami’s yet to release the gameplay demo into the wild, but we suspect it won’t be long before everyone gets to feast their eyes on it. And, if the Twitter reactions are anything to go by, it’s going to absolutely blow your mind.

so its excusive for ps3?
My body is ready.
@JavierYHL Unlikely. It will probably be for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC.
Honestly I am secretly hoping for a MGS4 Vita edition.
Kojima is "transfarring" the timeline of MGS! It will now erase the character of Snake and instead feature Big Boss exclusively as the hero throughout the entire series. This game will be a remake of MG and MG2. The "terrible infants" have been "transfarred" otta here!!!!
@ThreadShadow: Yes please! Except that Big Boss is kinda the person who set off the events of all the MG games so I don't see how that would work xP
Still. Big Boss >>>> Solid Snake.
