It looks like developer SuperBot Entertainment is serious in its pursuit to ensure that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has a presence in the professional fighting game community. The upstart has announced on its Facebook page that the upcoming mascot mash-up will feature full support for arcade sticks.
“We are happy to announce that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will include controller configuration support for all popular arcade stick peripherals,” it revealed overnight.
The developer continued that the transition to arcade stick is fairly straightforward, with the main joystick handling player movement, and the face buttons combining for attacks. The only exception is the throw command which uses the second analogue stick on the DualShock 3. “With an arcade stick, throws are simply performed with an easy button combination,” the developer concluded.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is due out in October on PlayStation 3 and Vita.

I'm sure this was cl0ckw0rk's idea.
Don't arcade sticks work on most games anyway (bar the second analog stick)? Even so, good to see they're willing to let you choose what kind of controls you want to use, right stick for throws sounds wonky to me anyway.
