A screenshot allegedly taken from an in-development version of Prince of Persia has emerged online. The image – which popped up on the official Ubisoft forums this weekend – offers a sneak peek at a project called Prince of Persia Zero 2. The title is supposedly related to a failed reboot set in the modern day.
The image shows a much bulkier protagonist in an Assassin’s Creed-esque environment. It certainly tallies with the leaked trailer that emerged on NeoGAF earlier this year, but it's unclear whether the project has been cancelled. What would you like to see from the next Prince of Persia title?

What would I like to see? A sequel to PoP 2008. That was a good game, dangit!
@Stuffgamer1 It was! I enjoyed it, too!
So we're going to have Assassin's Creed... which plays like Assassin's Creed. And then we're going to have Prince of Persia... which plays like Assassin's Creed.
Nah, I'm just joking, but the screenshot just screams Assassin's Creed.
Yes, PoP 2008 is amazing and beautiful, I'd like more of that.
