Sony has announced that it will serve up Sports Champions 2 on 30th October in North America. The PlayStation Move-powered compilation will boast a handful of new sports, including tennis, golf, skiing, bowling and boxing. It’ll also feature an updated version of archery.
Unlike the previous Sports Champions, you’ll now be able to create your own character and equip it with various costumes and accessories. Producer Jeremy Ray admits that developer Zindagi Games is already “starting to think about post-release support to make this feature even better”.
We just hope that the tennis mode lives up to our lofty expectations. If it delivers, we might not need to play anything else this year.

I was really hoping for a new Disc Golf course, but I'm still buying this on day one!
@Slapshot Haha. I really like the sound of the new sports in this apart from skiing. Not sure how that's going to work. Boxing and tennis are going to be my jam, though, I suspect.
Ugh! I bought the first one for the volleyball game (which was awesome). Was hoping for a indoor volleyball game or at least a sport that I like. Don't care for skiing or bowling, If boxing is anything like the wii sports one, I'll pass. Here's hopping tennis alone is worth the purchase
love the first game
I think mostly all 'new' sports is the best for this, it'd be a shame to have the first game feel redundant- also, it would be labelled as a lazy sequel.
There's always the posibility that Zindagi could release the original Sports Champions events as add on DLC- in fact, that's a great idea! Go me! Sideways smileyface!
I just don't see how this is a $40 retail release, the first 1 basically was $20 with the Move bundle and now can be found for under $10. All the build-up for Sorcery had it release at $40 and now it's $20 - $25 everywhere and it's barely been out 3 months. This should be $20. Though Nintendo released it's free Wii Sports for $20 so I guess anything is possible.
I should think it would be at the £30 mark on release as Sorcery was.
