It may have slipped your memory, but Canada still hasn’t received the 3G version of the PlayStation Vita. The enhanced SKU was quietly cancelled in the region ahead of the system’s February launch – and there’s been very little information from platform holder Sony ever since.
Well, until this evening anyway. The company has revealed that the connected console will finally make its overdue arrival in Canada next month. The handheld will retail for $299.99, with vouchers for Gravity Rush and Unit 13 included. Rogers has signed up to provide the service, selling 250MB of data for $15 a month or 5GB for $35.
The 3G-enabled PlayStation Vita is not necessary by any stretch, but it does come with a handful of benefits. The console allows you to communicate with friends, sync trophies and submit Near reports when you’re away from a Wi-Fi signal. If you're out and about a lot, it's definitely worthwhile.

I got a 6gb plan with Rogers already, I just create a hotspot and share my internet.
But this is good news for gamers on the go who haven't gotten a Vita yet in Canada!
Good to hear we have one, finally
