We know it’s the oldest “joke” in the book, but we still remember when people purchased the original Zone of the Enders just to play the demo for Metal Gear Solid 2. As such, it’s funny that the visually re-mastered Zone of the Enders HD still can’t seem to escape from the shadow of Kojima Productions’ other more popular franchise.
Konami has announced that the upcoming overhauled compilation will ship alongside a demo for Raiden’s swashbuckling spin-off, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It’s unclear how much of the Platinum developed action game players will get to sample, but the publisher promises it will offer a decent taste of the title’s “thrilling cut at will game mechanic”. So at least a couple of minutes, then.
Zone of the Enders HD is set to release on 30th October in North America. The Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance demo will release digitally at a later date. Keep that in mind if you’re planning on splashing out on a game you don’t really want just for a taster.

If you mean that the MGR demo is included in the ZOE HD collection, then this is old news. But still funny how they did that n_n
I like MGS and I like action games. It all works out for me!
I don't recall the MGS2 demo on the ZoE disc, but the demo was probably longer than the game. Though ZoE was still a lot longer than the 20 minute Bouncer. OK, it was 60 minutes if you played thru each characters storyline, but still, it was basically the same 20 minute game 3xs. It signaled the beginning of the end of Squares "graphics over story" downfall, though they still had a few decent games left in them. .
Do we really need demo's on disc anyway? I can DL 13GB 60 minute trials w/ PS +.
@rjejr It was the first half of the tanker mission up to the shootout with Olga. Nevr played ZoE but if I'm not going to buy a game just for a demo, let alone one of a game I'll just end up buying anyway.
Like the title, too bad its the other way around.
Hopefully this will lead to me aquiring an even cheaper copy of ZOE HD. i couldn't care less about MGS.
