If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to replay the games from your youth, then Warner Bros has the perfect package for you. The publisher has announced the Midway Arcade Origins compilation, which will feature a host of old school classics such as Joust, Marble Madness and Spy Hunter.
The PlayStation 3 release will include full Trophy support, in addition to added multiplayer and leaderboards for a select number of titles. It’s currently in development at Backbone Entertainment, and will retail for $29.99 later this year.

My brother used to LOVE Marble Madness back in the day lol.
Marble Madness is amazing
Yes! Glad to see so many Marble Madness fans! What a game...
@get2sammyb sam do write everything on this site ?
I was really interested until I read $30. Now i'm only slightly interested.
Also marble madness FTW! I played it on NES back in the day, and I was pleasantly surprised by the mode in hamsterball that is more or less the same game with new maps.
Mmm...seems a bit overpriced. Incidentally, just saw the "art of video games" exhibit in Washington DC, and it was cool to see that Marble Madness was one of the featured games. This does look cool, I'm just not so sure it is 30 dollars cool.
For anyone interested, I just looked up more info and it seems that the collection will include more than 30 games, so I guess the cost isn't so bad when you factor that in...

SWEET! Loved the collections on PS2, but don't have them (or an easy way to play them) anymore, so this'll be AWESOME! Title wish list:
Root Beer Tapper. Seriously, I love that game...back when I had a 360, I got into the top 100 on the leaderboard. Great stuff.
Toobin'. Silly fun. Woooooah!
A few that are already announced like Gauntlet and Rampage...man, this is gonna rock.
It's worth noting that I'm currently using a browser that can't run the video from bauckster's link, so if either of the titles I mentioned were featured in it, I wouldn't know.
Somehow I was born without the nostalgia gene. Happy to never see the games of my youth again. I much prefer modern games. It is always interesting to see how many people love the "classics". I'm clearly in the minority. I'm sure this will sell even at the high price.
@Ginko: $30 for at least 30 games doesn't exactly qualify as a "high price." At least, I don't think so. Sounds like a great deal to me, especially considering the HD programming and Trophy support.
