Pop down those pitch-forks and “Capcom Sucks” protest boards – the Japanese publisher has revealed that Resident Evil 6’s recently uncovered on-disc DLC will actually be free. According to the company, the complimentary content will be unlocked in an upcoming update.
There will be paid DLC for the conflicted survival horror shooter, of course, but none of that material is currently included on the Blu-ray. You’ll have to find another game to get mad about, we’re afraid. How about Dead Space 3?

Good news I guess, but I still don't like the practice of locking out any content that's already on the disc.
So how is this DLC?
Well with Capcom dlc stands for disc locked content, that's what this is and frankly it's ridiculous.
Hey, at least it's not like that tekken garbage where you have to buy the on-disk characters seperately. And besides, RE6 is a lot of fun, and any more content on top of it is just icing on the cake for me~
