It’s impressive just how much post-release content developer Fun Bits Interactive has already produced for PlayStation Vita exclusive Escape Plan – but it’s not quite finished yet. The studio has announced a brand new expansion pack named Director’s Cut, which is set to release on the PlayStation Store this week.
According to team lead Chris Millar, the DLC is “filled with the most devious and evil tricks” that the studio has ever conceived. The £3.99/$4.99 pack will include 21 brand new levels and four fresh outfits for protagonists Lil and Laarg. And of course, there’ll be a bevy of new Trophies to collect too.
The expansion will be complemented by a new patch for the game that integrates button controls. Now you’ll be able to start and stop each of the character’s movements using traditional inputs. If you weren’t a fan of the original touch screen controls, this update has been built for you.
Let us know if you’re still playing Escape Plan in the comments section below.

Sad to see that it isn't on sale right away for a discount ($1-$3?) like the Asylum and Underground packs were, but hey this game is great fun. I know for a fact I'll be getting this pack eventually, but when is the question. I still need to play through the Underground pack, working on Platinum on Golden Abyss, and now we have NiGHTS and Sonic Adventure 2 today....it never ends.
Edit: Seems like the patch (1.04) is up already before the store update.
NiGHTS is not for Vita is it?
@DM666 Nah, but I think he's talking about PSN content in general. I must admit, I agree — there's too much stuff at the moment!
Best thing I did was cancelling Xbox live gold membership and taking on ps plus
