You were probably going to purchase both Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation anyway – but Ubisoft has announced an added incentive to affirm your decision. If you link up both games, you’ll be able to play a converging mission as Connor on the PlayStation Vita. Furthermore, you’ll unlock the console protagonist’s Tomahawk for use in Liberation, as well as a character skin and an increased ammunition pouch.
The trailer below shows a little more of the handheld title in action, and details some of the game's optional touch controls. The ‘Mark and Kill’ mechanic is especially noteworthy, as it allows you to pause the title and select a slew of adversaries for Aveline to automatically target, assuming you’ve fully replenished an on-screen meter.
Both Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation are set to release next week. Who's excited?

I am so..... EXCITED. Now if they would just give us a skin to free roam as Connor, now that would be awesome. They allow you to play as Brotherhood Ezio in AC3 by using the Uplay points, so they should really to incorporate something like this in Liberation.
@Spangledesh It sounds like playing as Connor in Liberation is a single mission thing. They might release something as DLC, though.
Wow, Liberation looks MUCH better than I expected. My friend said he might get a Vita just for that and BO2.
this is the game to beat for vita hands down...will be getting both
@turtlelink The graphics look even better on the OLED screen, trust me.
Guess if Sony was going to make a Vita - PS3 bundle this would have been it. A-Rod would have bought one, maybe he could have hit something.
I'll probably pick up Liberation first. :3
Picking up both at the midnight launch, can't wait. Liberation looks fantastic, hopefully it does 'good enough' at retail so that Ubisoft continues to support the system and maybe other third parties jump on board.
I am getting AC: Liberation for my PS Vita. My copy from Newegg just shipped today. Really looking forward to playing it.
