If you’re from North America, you might want to look away now. Sony has announced the European PlayStation Plus content schedule for October – and it’s absolutely brimming with attractive deals.
First up, premium members will get free access to Arkedo’s Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit. The insanely pretty side-scroller puts you in control of Ash, a demonic rabbit who's enraged when candid photographs of him in the shower find their way online.
If that wasn’t enough bonkers content for you, on 10th October you'll get a free copy of Bulletstorm as well. The People Can Fly developed first-person shooter sees you earning points by killing your foes creatively – including kicking them into gigantic Venus Flytraps.
In addition, you’ll also be able to download Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition. The re-release of the 2009 shooter includes PlayStation Move support and a couple of post-release DLC packs, making it the complete edition of the co-op shooter. It’s also the perfect complement to Resident Evil 6, which is due out on PS3 today.
As always with PlayStation Plus, there’ll be a handful of discounts on various games too. Subscribers will get 30% off Derrick the Deathfin and 50% off Dogfight 1942. You can peruse the full list of incoming updates on the PlayStation Blog.

That's a ridiculous amount of content. I'm still struggling to understand how PlayStation Plus actually makes Sony any money.
@get2sammyb exactly its crazy the amount of free stuff there is now and still people find something to moan about
@TOMBOY25 I can understand why people in North America might be disappointed to be honest. The European content has been consistently better for months now.
As a NA gamer I'm not to disappointed with this news.
I all ready have RE5 and have heard nothing but bad things about Bulletstorm. I wouldn't mind checking out Wrath of the Dead Rabbit but I'll live.
I am really enjoying the Playstation Plus Content at the moment! Can not wait to see what the Vita has to offer!
@get2sammyb: Finally, someone understands our strife~
I'm actually happy for European gamers. After generations of being crapped on and treated with disrespect it's nice to see developers finally paying attention to it and it only makes sense given the size and potential of that market.
Also, at this point, regardless of what region you're in, I don't know how anybody could prefer the online services of Nintendo and MS over Sony's. Plus is a better value than anything else out there.
Obviously a way to get more people interested in RE6
@Big_Gamer Agreed. But this kind of advertising I can live with
