Our agonising wait for Retro City Rampage will finally come to a conclusion next week, when the 8-bit interpretation of Grand Theft Auto hijacks a spot on the North American PlayStation Store on 9th October. For just $14.99, you’ll unlock access to both the PS3 and Vita versions of the title.
A European release will take place at some point later this month, but a specific date has yet to be confirmed. Let us know if you’re excited in the comments section below.

1 game besides Sound Shapes that i was looking forward to on the Vita was this.
Unfortunately Sound Shapes was underwhelming as a game. A great "experience", but as a game - meh!
Hope this kills it!
Have you had a playthrough Sammy? Does it play as retro cool as it looks? (It does resemble a Warioware game which is slightly not what I was expecting!)
@IrishYort I haven't played it yet, no, but I can confirm that it's nothing like WarioWare in terms of gameplay!
great @Sammy. Fingers crossed for what looks to be a great theowback to a retro style game genre.
Oh very cool. This is one I've been planning on buying. The price is just a hair more than I was hoping for, but hopefully there's a demo that convinces me it's well worth it. Or a PS+ discount would be fantastic.
@Squiggle55 Wouldn't hold your breath for any discounts. Cross-buy should add value to the package if you've got a Vita, though.
finally i can't wait to play it after years of development =D=D
@get2sammyb What makes you say that? Seems like we've been getting a lot of unexpected 10 or 20 % discounts at launch for good PSN games lately.
@Squiggle55 I just feel like they would have announced it alongside the date. But you're right — it's certainly not impossible.
Well then I'll just keep crossing my fingers. It's always nice to see that happen to games I plan on buying anyway.
Hurray, the day before my birthday~
HBD! ^
