We’re too civilised to participate in anything as vulgar as Black Friday overseas – we wait until Boxing Day instead. Still, Sony clearly understands the importance of the day, and, as such, it has collated some of its best holiday bundles on the PlayStation Blog in order to keep you in the loop this year.
Unsurprisingly, promotions span both the PlayStation 3 and Vita, with both consoles slashed to $199.99. You’ll be able to snap up one of Sony’s nifty new handhelds with a copy of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified or LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes at the aforementioned price. The first two packages will come with a 4GB memory card included, too.
Meanwhile, on the home console front, you’ll be able to nab a 250GB PS3 Super Slim, a 30-day PlayStation Plus trial, a copy of the Uncharted dual pack (including both Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves), and the inFamous Collection (including inFamous and inFamous 2) for $199.99. That constitutes over $119 in savings. Furthermore, a slew of DualShock 3 controllers will be available at the discounted price point of $39.99.
As always, offers and availability will vary, so it’s best to check in with your local stores before you venture out of your house. (We’ve seen Black Friday videos on YouTube – we understand).

great deal non vita owners time to get 1
People in the U$ are just such lucky bastards ( In euro's 156,92). I have to pay €250 for that bundle. In dollars that would be something like $318,63
Oke that is something like $318,63-200= $118,63 we pay this more than you
@Sanquine
Sorry that you have to pay more, but thats how the world works. You should see what the chinese have to pay in Hong Kong.
Anyways, I like this PS VIta deal but is it just me but how come a PS Vita bundle cost as much as a 250gb PS3 console bundle? I think Sony needs to lower the price on the Vita still. If i went to the store and i see a ps3 bundle and a PS vita bundle side by side...I would pick the PS3 bundle. To me there's more value. 250gb of hard drive space vs a 4gb... not a very hard decision. but thats just my opinion.
Now if they bundle the 250gb PS3 and a Vita together for $350- $379 i will buy this in a heart beat eventhough i have 2 ps3 and 2 vitas (My wife took mine when she discover little big planet and hot shot golf so I was forced to buy another one).
hey people that are thinking of getting a Vita: GET ONE! There freakin awesome, and for $199, it's a steal!
I'm thinking about Wonderbook for $20 at Gamestop. For that price I can make it a Hanukah gift for the 2 kids to share. Though only if I can get it online - I don't venture into the maddening crowds on Black Friday. Somebody literally got killed at Walmart near me a few years back. I don't need to save $50 that bad. And it seems like either stuff is sold out, or 2 weeks later it's the same price or near enough w/ GC, free accessories etc.
Those are some fantastic deals. Buy it and sell the game on ebay if you don't want it. Hopefully this increases the user base.
the americans dun like the vita...sony needs to do something bout it
That PS3 deal is sweeeet.
That's because your money sticks compared to US money
