It may have only taken five months to put together, but Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is already throwing its weight around the UK sales charts. The handheld spin-off shot straight into 16th position on this week’s best-sellers list, becoming the second biggest PlayStation Vita launch in Britain since the system’s debut in February. Launch title Uncharted: Golden Abyss still remains the release to beat.
Despite its commercial success, the first-person shooter has been panned critically, resulting in a Metacritic rating of just 33. Did any of you purchase the title? What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments section below.

@get2sammyb Did you guys get a review copy of this game? Still unsure about it
@ZeD We didn't — but we should have a review this week.
I bought it and am enjoying it so far, I've never played any call of duty game before, so nothing to base it on...
I bought it, so did a few of my friends. Barely played the single player-but the online is fun. Its been getting a bad rap from the reviews, but if you wantwant to play a mobile competitive fps this is awesome.
It looks like a whle load of 'meh'.
If Killzone rocks with a solid sp, mp and graphics, I may just get another Vita!
I had my doubts based on the horrible reviews, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Reviews focus on gamebreaking crashes, buggy terrain, and failed connections in multiplayer. Well, I've played 15+ hours so far, both SP and MP, and I havn't encountered a SINGLE bug or lost connection even once. In fact it is lag free and controls really well. Graphics are decent, though not amazing. Lighting and frame rate are great, but texture work and animation is meh.
I understand where the reviewers are coming from though - this is a huge missed opportunity. SP content is extremely short, story is nowhere to be found. the AI is plain silly and there are no cool set pieces, though these have always been high points of CoD campaigns. MP maps are a little cramped, there are too few of them, and the MP features and modes are lacking as well.
Based on the controls alone, this is by far the best mobile shooter ever made. That should count for something. If Nihilistic really coded this in 5 months, I'm impressed. Too bad for Sony though. Had this one been made just right, it would have moved a million Vita units. If you keep outsourcing the good IPs to random devs, you will never get that killer app. I'm having a great time with CoDBOD, but I completely understand those that do not.
Add me Sanquine90 It is a blast to play the MP
@Savino Or Resistance.
@KALofKRYPTON Resistance really sucked. I always felt the game was to laggy to play online..
@Savino FOCK:P Europe GMT +1 ( Now 19;02)
I'm glad at least to hear some people are enjoying the MP. Maybe it will help a little with sales after all. I'm hoping too that Killzone is perfect across the board.
hope there are zombies DLC coming...
@Savino "You can shoot your friends while taking a dump!!! Man, thats priceless!!!!!!!!" - best comment I have read in ages! Though it is probably an unwanted mental image.....
Hopefully Gameloft will bring Modern Combat 4 to Vita and save us from all this FPS garbage that's been thrown onto Vita!
I really really do enjoy this title. The single player is mad difficult on veteran, but I'm all for difficult games. The muliplayer is very solid and addictive as well and I don't usually like multiplayer games.
I can't help but think it's only doing poorly in reviews due to it being a CoD game. If they would have called it VITA HAPPY FUN SHOOTER TIME it could have easily scored MUCH higher on metacritic. Just hurt expectations is all I think
