Mafia II may have been disappointing from a gameplay perspective – but it remains one of the most atmospheric PlayStation 3 titles to date. As such, we’re eager to see what developer 2K Czech can achieve with next-generation hardware.
Fortunately, the studio is rumoured to be working on a sequel to the open world crime drama for PlayStation 4, and a slew of job listings spotted earlier today have reinforced that. The recruitment advertisements – promoting a range of different positions – each note that successful applicants will be put to work on a "top secret, unannounced and super interesting project”. Furthermore, the programmer roles add that the studio is "looking to push the boundaries of cutting edge hardware”.

Despite it limitations, I enjoyed Marfia II. Should be interesting to see what they come up with.
