It may only feel like a few months since the last baseball title launched on PlayStation 3 and Vita (protip: it was), but that’s not stopping Sony from readying MLB 13 The Show for 5th March. The sequel to the popular sports simulation will include a number of new features, including a Playoff option, a beginner setting, and general enhancements to the series’ staple Play Now, Franchise, and Road to the Show modes.
You’ll be able to synchronise data between the different versions of the game, but there’s no word on whether the title will support cross-buy just yet. We recommend that you cross your fingers. See what we did there? Alright, we’ll get our coat.

Will the Move controls be improving as well?
@dmmp1234 No word on that in the PS Blog post, but hopefully it's an area they've tweaked!
MLB The Show is actually the main reason I bought the PS3 so obviously I can't wait for this. Also look forward to the Vita version, last year's handheld outing was great, aside from the crowd the game looked pretty much on par with the PS3 version.
