Sony Bend Recruiting for Blockbuster Vita Game

Sony Bend, the North American first-party studio responsible for the Syphon Filter franchise and the recent Uncharted: Golden Abyss, is staffing up for a new blockbuster PlayStation Vita title. A job listing for a Senior Staff Technical Animator on Gamasutra notes that the developer is currently looking for “top artistic talent to help us create AAA content for Sony's powerful new hardware”.

The advertisement continues: “We just scratched the surface on what the PlayStation Vita can do with Uncharted: Golden Abyss and expect to push the platform even further with our future projects."

We’d be surprised if the company wasn’t working on a new Uncharted spin-off, but we’d love to see Syphon Filter get a second shot in the spotlight. What would you like to see Sony Bend do next? Let us know in the comments section below.

@Savino No trolling... But is the vita really dying? I have almost 20 games on it ( PSP included) and i still want to play Soul sacrifice , tear away and killzone mercenaries on it. Futhermore, A gta vita would be lovely... Please i hope they dont let the vita die. No dreamcast... I loved the dreamcast

Couple the fact that Syphon Filter has been rumored on Vita for a while and that another studio is already developing an Uncharted game for Vita, and you've got 100% accuracy that this is a Syphon Filter game, which should be extremely awesome. I seriously hope they're not just starting development. Uncharted came out a while ago, what have they been doing since then??
