There’s some stunning hair animation in this Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 trailer. In it, protagonist Gabriel Belmont reminisces about what used to be. According to game director Dave Cox, the footage is all in-game. “There was no CGI,” he boasted on Twitter.

The previous title offered a surprisingly solid take on the God of War blueprint, so we’re cautiously optimistic about the sequel.
