Indie developer Nicklas ‘Nifflas’ Nygren’s latest platformer Knytt Underground will target the PlayStation 3 and Vita this week. North American gamers will get their hands on the attractive adventure from 18th December, while European users will have to wait until 21st December. In order to make up for the three day sabbatical, the game will be available as a free download for PlayStation Plus subscribers. It’ll cost £9.99/$14.99 for everyone else.
The full game will feature over 1,800 rooms to run, jump, climb, swing, and bounce through. There will also be “multiple story-driven quests” to accompany the “zen-like gameplay”. We’ve embedded a trailer below. Looks neat, huh?

Looks challenging. I'm familiar with Knytt, but I've never delved deep into the series. I hope there is a demo. Looks interesting.
@ThreadShadow The drop doesn't say anything about a demo for Knytt.
@ThreadShadow Yeah, sadly no mention of a demo in the press release either.
This game doesn't say it's free (to PS Plus subscibers) on the Store. Is that is just for Europe, because if it is that's slightly unfair even if we got it 3 days before. I mean, it's only 3 days, can't you guys wait a measly 3 days? This deal should be available to both Europeans and Americans.
Well, Nifflas is from Sweden...
