Who Is The Last of Us' Latest Survivor?

There are plenty more people living in The Last of Us' post-apocalyptic world than main protagonists Joel and Ellie. As evidenced by the title’s recent story trailer, there are actually a whole slew of survivors – including newcomer, Tess.

“Strong, smart, and street savvy, Tess is a pivotal character in the world of The Last of Us,” explained community strategist Eric Monacelli on the PlayStation Blog. “Tess is voiced and played by Annie Wersching. You might recognise Annie’s voice from her work on the hit TV series 24.”

In order to celebrate the character’s addition to the cast, Naughty Dog has released a brand new video showcasing the transformation from stage to in-game cinematic. The studio’s cutting edge performance capture always looks incredible in action – but it’s even more impressive when you see it brought to life like this. Also, voice actor Troy Baker's facial hair is to die for.
